Europe themed wedding in Delhi

Shaadi time:“It was love at first sight,” a common friend told us at the recent Europe-themed wedding of Aapurti and Akshay Jain in the capital. That was true even though the couple had met only three and a half months ago, and the match was ‘arranged’ by a family friend.
“The moment I saw her, I knew she was the one,” said Akshay. “She is my dream girl.” He loves her innocence, while Aapurti likes his confidence.“I love the way he talks, his confidence and sense of humour,” she told us.
Vote a wedding! The wedding was on February 7, the same day as the Delhi assembly elections, “but almost every member of both families cast their vote,” said Rakesh Jain, Aapurti’s uncle. He added, “I knew both the families well, so I arranged this wedding, and I am happy as they make a lovely couple.”
His and hers: “The European theme for the wedding was my choice,” said Aapurti, dressed in beautiful red lehenga and diamond tiara. Akshay added, “So I chose our honeymoon destination.” The couple is set to leave for Miami on a honeymoon cruise. “This is the first time either of us is going on a cruise,” said an excited Aapurti.
